BestGames.to ist ein unabhängiger Katalog und ein Ranking für private MMO-Server. Wir listen Server aus mehr als 20 Spielen — Lineage 2, World of Warcraft, MU Online, Aion, Perfect World, Minecraft, Ragnarok Online, Metin2 und weitere. Die Position eines Projekts in der Liste wird durch Spielerstimmen ermittelt.

Ein Konto kann pro Tag eine Stimme abgeben. Die Stimmen bestimmen das organische Ranking: Je mehr Stimmen ein Projekt erhält, desto höher steigt es in der Liste. Die Stimmenzählung erfolgt monatlich und wird jeweils am 1. eines Monats zurückgesetzt, sodass die Liste die aktuelle Aktivität der Gemeinschaft widerspiegelt. Versuche, Stimmen künstlich zu erhöhen, werden erfasst und führen zu Sanktionen.

Ja. Den Katalog durchsuchen, abstimmen, Bewertungen hinterlassen und einen eigenen Server zum Ranking hinzufügen sind völlig kostenlos und erfordern keine Zahlung.

Wie man einen Server auswählt

Jede Serverkarte im Katalog zeigt die wichtigsten Parameter: Erfahrungs- und Drop-Raten, Level-Cap, Startdatum, Community-Sprache und einen Link zur offiziellen Website. Worauf man zuerst achten sollte:

Online-Zahl im Kontext. Eine absolute Online-Zahl sagt für sich genommen wenig aus: Bei manchen Spielen und Chronicles sind hundert Spieler eine vollständige Community mit Belagerungen und Gruppeninhalten, bei anderen eher bescheiden. Bewerten Sie die Online-Zahl immer im Verhältnis zum jeweiligen Spiel und der Version, nicht isoliert.

Projektalter. Ein Server, der seit über einem Jahr stabil läuft, hat seine Lebensfähigkeit bereits bewiesen. Bei neueren Projekten sollte man das Team und die angegebenen Support-Pläne prüfen.

Donations-Modell. Bei privaten Servern zählt, was genau für Geld verkauft wird. Kosmetik, Erfahrungs-Boosts und Komfort-Items brechen das Gleichgewicht in der Regel nicht. Der Verkauf der besten Ausrüstung oder Enchantments für echtes Geld (Pay-to-Win) beeinflusst PvP spürbar — das sollte bei der Wahl berücksichtigt werden.
